I wanted to warn you that on 29-30-31 March, at 2.30 pm, Prof. Ariadna Llorens, associate lecturer in the Management Department at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain, will hold a series of three seminars on theme "Project Management Skills".

Course sillabus: PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS

The aim of this workshop is to learn how to implement the main activities related to the management of projects and teams. As to manage of individual performance, create efficient teams, planning of staff development, create talent loyalty, and the organizational development.

Objectives

  • To understand aspects of human behavior in organizational settings, considered from a management perspective.
  • To develop interpersonal skills and competencies useful to leader projects.
  • To develop skills for efficient collaborative team work.

Prof. Ariadna Llorens short Bio:

Ariadna Llorens, is an associate lecturer in the Management Department at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain. She is an Industrial Engineer and holds a PhD in Management from UPC and a MBA in Administration from ESADE. Currently Director of the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE) at UPC, she has been Councilor of Education and Technology at the Vilanova i la Geltrú Town Council, and Deputy Director at the Education and Labour Institute (IMET) at the same village. She has been Deputy Director of Strategic Planning and New Technologies at the Technical School of Vilanova i la Geltrú (EPSEVG, UPC). She is researcher at the University Research Group (EduSTEAM) at UPC, with more than 90 scientific contributions including teaching innovation projects and funded research projects in the fields of Management and Education. Her research interests are in the fields of engineering education, ICT curriculum design, soft and management skills, employability, university-business cooperation and innovative learning methodologies.
